i never wondered how it will be like if one of my bestfriend is getting engaged. it never came across my mind that one of us is going to get engaged this year. primary reason is that we still act like we are 17 years old. we have been bestfriends for more than 11 years. we'll be celebrating our 12th anniversary as best buds in 2012. we have seen each other tru thick and thin.we have fight over small things, argue on different fashion sense and gave each other a very good slap on the face when one of us lose our mind.

and yesterday, it finally hit me. this is it. the time has come (muahahaha). who would have thought that Jaja would be the first to become a fiance to someone. no one. even mama was surprised when i told her the news a few months ago. Yes, we have been secretly discussing the event a few months ago but jaja asked to keep it a secret until the day itself. it was just a small ceremony for close family and friends. jaja has certainly followed the correct 'law' of engagement where you don't really have to set up tents and be all extravagant. it is only the 1st step towards a much bigger step. it was a very nice bonding ceremony. just friends and family members. it was a quick one too!

from her to him. simple hantaran no ipad no fancy handbags or shoes. just the normal things u were supposed to give on your e-day = sweet things and cakes. and sirih junjung of course.

 we were supposed to go to bangunan kehakiman for an outdoor photoshoot but it was already late and it was about to rain so we went to pullman lake instead. without jaja. hahaha. and have our own mini photoshoot session.

i can't really describe my feelings now that you are engaged. i am very happy but i guess i am sad at the same time. yes so drama queen. now that you have started the journey, i wish u the best and i want you to be happy with him. i've seen you tru your best and worst. i've seen you on your highest and lowest point. i've seen you as a monster and an angel. i've seen it all. we may have argued on things but deep inside we know why we are bestfriends; because we can be anything and everything when we are together.

i pray for you and bean. i pray that everything will go smoothly and great between the two of you. it is still a long way to go but you know, you'll come across sticks and stones along the way. be sure to have faith and don't let feelings take control in an argument.

...and you know you can come to me for anything kan? say it and i'll do it.

bean, take care of jaja. you don't know how much she cares for you. i've seen it all. you are beyond lucky to be hers :) you have made the right decision bean.
