Assalamualaikum and happy weekend people!

start off the first saturday in 2012 by going up the Broga Hill with my girls :) yes i know broga is sooooo lastlast year but why not? at least i finally made it up there. it was not as challenging as bukit pelindung (kuantan) and bukit bendera (penang) but it was worth it. the scenery was breathtaking! the best part was waiting for sunrise. oh so romantic. 

spent the night before at jaja's crib but only get to sleep for 3 hours. biasalah girls bila dah jumpa you'll find it hard to sleep when your mouth wants to talk talk talk. started the journey to semenyih at 4 am and reached the plantation somewhere around 5.00am. 

we started hiking at around 5.15am and reached the 1st peak at 6.00am. achievement! i never climbed a hill that fast before. i remembered it took me more than 2 hours to go up bukit pelindung and more than 3 hours to finally made it to the top of bukit bendera! tapi tengok distance la jugak kan. broga is only 1.7km.

the most challenging part? hurm..probably before reaching the 1st peak. we literally crawled up the hill. crawled.yes crawled. it was very steep and let me advice you, don't ever turn around to check on your friends because you might loose balance. while i was crawling, someone from the top screamed " ...jatuh! ...tolong sambut!". i was like "ape yang jatuh..?orang...?" when azira told me to try and grab a falling speedlite. turned out one of the fellas accidentally dropped their speedlite and i was lucky enough to be able to grab in on time before it fall into the gaung....and forever gone. i literally risk my own life trying to catch the speedlite. imagine yourself, crawling up a steep hill, using only your bare hands and feet. and you have to let go one of your hands to grab the falling speedlite. oh btw a speedlite is a flash (the one used with the DSLR). and not a single thank you...?pfft~

spent 1+ hours on top of the hill to witness sunrise. it was so peaceful :)
